This workshop will give you a basic understanding of unconscious bias and will help you realise how the unconscious shapes our everyday decisions and actions and can impact leadership effectiveness, workplace interactions, communication and decision making.
This 90-minute training is designed to shed light into two main issues: how our brain is wired to respond to the world in an efficient way; and how stereotypes and assumptions of in and out groups are embedded in such efficiency.
The learning objectives of this workshop are:
• Explore how our brains process information and make decisions
• Understand some of the most common types of unconscious biases
• Look at ways to mitigate the impact of bias in our workplaces.
