Making reasonable accommodations to support an employee’s needs are a core part of inclusive workplaces but they are also one of the most challenging areas for leaders and organisations to navigate well.
Our monthly webinar tackles the practical and sometimes uncomfortable questions that arise when accommodating individual needs to enable people to participate fully at work. We will explore how requests show up across different demographics, such as neurodiversity and faith, and how organisations can assess what is reasonable, sustainable and fair.
The discussion will examine where accommodations intersect with performance, behaviour and team impact, including when support is no longer enabling success but creating unintended consequences for others. Our panellists will also look at decision-making, consistency versus exceptions and how leaders can hold clear boundaries while still meeting their inclusion obligations.
Diversity Sessions are interactive online conversations designed to deepen our understanding of inclusion issues affecting our organisations and our people.
