Join us at Auckland Zoo as we wrap up 2025 and celebrate some of the incredible mahi fostering inclusion in workplaces around Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is a chance to connect, reflect on emerging insights in workplace inclusion, and hear what's shaping the future of this kaupapa.
We will begin with morning tea and networking, followed by engaging presentations on the role that research can play in sustaining the programmes and initiatives our organisations undertake to create better workplaces for our people.
Then you can explore Auckland Zoo, free of charge.
The Bystander Project
ConCOVE Deputy Director George Makapatama will present research underpinning the organisation’s programme of work focused on bystander intervention in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Aimed at eliminating hostile work environments for women, the project produced a bystander framework, guidelines and other resources equip people to safely intervene when they see harmful behaviours.
Evolving research for greater impact
Te Uru Tāngata Centre for Workplace Inclusion Chief Executive Maretha Smit will share how our annual programme of research is shifting to allow us to better understand the issues facing workplaces in Aotearoa and how we can provide wraparound support, learning, resources and tools to enable positive change in how people experience work across Aotearoa.
