How we structure roles often determines who is eligible for opportunities and who gets left out. From qualification requirements to career progression frameworks, the way jobs are designed has never offered a level playing field for candidates.
In this session, we explore how inclusive job design can challenge these defaults, moving beyond the over-reliance on traditional qualification pathways and rethinking what "career success" really means. We'll look at how outdated assumptions embedded in job architecture can unintentionally narrow the talent pool and what a more intentional approach to role design looks like in practice.
Our panel will also consider how the future of work is reshaping the landscape, creating both new risks of exclusion and new opportunities to build fairer systems from the ground up.
Diversity Sessions are interactive online conversations designed to deepen our understanding of inclusion issues affecting our organisations and our people.
