Join us at the Waikato Regional Diversity Group Hui where we will take a deep dive into how we talk about the mahi we do in our organisations.
In the evolving landscape of workplace inclusion, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, justice and accessibility (DEIBJA) represent a broad spectrum of concepts and priorities.
While the individual words may sound appealing, the lack of a shared understanding and definition of what each of these concepts bring to our mahi may introduce risk. Our 2025 Regional Diversity Group hui invite participants to explore how DEIBJA is not a one-size-fits-all framework, but rather a set of focus points that organisations can use to reflect their unique missions and goals.
Our hui will begin with a light lunch and a chance to strengthen ties with fellow inclusion champions from the Waikato region.
Regional Diversity Group meetings are opportunities to connect kanohi ki te kanohi, encouraging networking, group conversations and shared learning. Throughout 2025 we will explore collectively how organisations can define their approach to workplace inclusion in a way that feels both actionable and authentic.
