Many of us don’t feel comfortable being ourselves at work. Even in organisations that are genuinely committed to inclusion, individuals can still feel the need to “edit” parts of who they are to fit in.
That might show up as holding back ideas, avoiding difficult conversations, downplaying aspects of identity, or quietly disconnecting. Over time, that lack of alignment can affect confidence, wellbeing, engagement, and trust.
This online interactive workshop is designed as a starting point for exploring belonging and identity. The session provides a safe space for guided reflection, learning, and conversation, supported by simple frameworks and practical activities.
Participants will gain:
- A snapshot of their current self-expression, including where they feel most and least able to be themselves.
- Increased clarity around where they may be holding back and why.
- Practical tips, tools, and strategies to create more freedom and authenticity at work and in life.
This workshop is presented in partnership with a subject matter expert and will be facilitated by Carly Shorter from Communicate Powerfully – read more about Carly here.
